Sr. Manager, Indirect Procurement

The Sr. Manager, Indirect Procurement SAMCAM / BRAZIL will lead the SAMCAM and BRAZIL (SAMCAM) regional indirect procurement team and be responsible for the definition, development and execution of multiple mid to highly complex sourcing categories for the SAMCAM region. The position will manage key relationships with SAMCAM Regional Leadership to support SAMCAM regional strategy and key strategic objective from a procurement perspective. The position will work with multiple functional areas and drive category strategy within the region, execute sourcing and contract negotiations, manage strategic supplier relationships and ensure compliance and procurement best practices and procedures.

This position will be expected to utilize his/her knowledge to enhance and leverage Herbalife's buying power across the SAMCAM region to source goods/services and achieve the highest degree of overall value in procurement, considering the total cost of ownership.

HOW YOU WOULD CONTRIBUTE: 
•    Manage and develop the Indirect Procurement Team in the Region: Recruit the right talent, constructively challenge and coach the team, manage individual and team performance, and proactively develop the succession plan for the region.
•    Connect and manage relationships with key regional stakeholders and Corporate Teams: Ensure full support for regional priorities by leveraging procurement knowledge and scale.
•    Manage strategic supplier relationships: Foster strong partnerships to enhance procurement outcomes.
•    Execute strategic sourcing and contract negotiations: Ensure favorable terms and conditions with suppliers.
•    Proactively manage and prioritize regional demand: Assure effective and efficient execution of procurement activities.
•    Align and deliver Management Business Objectives (MBO) and related KPIs: Ensure alignment with regional priorities, including budget and savings targets.
•    Drive procurement best-practice sharing within the region: Collaborate with internal business units to support long-term sourcing strategies.
•    Ensure compliance with procurement best practices and procedures: Maintain high standards of integrity and efficiency.

SKILLS AND BACKGROUND REQUIRED TO BE SUCCESSFUL: 
•    Advanced Procurement knowledge: including Strategic Sourcing, Supplier Management and Best Practices
•    Team Leader and Coach: building the team, developing and promoting talent, managing performance, and create the right environment to evolve Procurement function while supporting Herbalife growth
•    Entrepreneurship mindset: Proactive, problem solver, adaptable and track record of delivering results under very dynamic environments
•    Relationship management: verbal and written communication skills. Ability to communicate and influence several stake holders inside and outside the organization. (Speaker, documentation, and presentation)
•    Procurement ambassador: driving and communicating value through the business initiatives, influencing and fostering teamwork and collaboration, leading cross-functional teams, and building bridges and partnerships with stake holders
•    Demonstrated achievement: provide tangible results including savings generation, value creation from supplier relationships management, quality, compliance, service level, and sustainability
•    8 years of purchasing and procurement experience 
•    Fluent in Spanish and English

Education
•    Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Adminstration, or related field
